Recital

On October 25, 2003, the New Smyrna Beach Library graciously hosted our first classical recital.   All the performers have worked hard and practiced diligently since, and it certainly came through in their music.   Congratulations are in order for Hannah, Meris, Julia, Ron, and Joan for their beautiful performances and their elegant dress.   Miss Cathy should also be commended, as she accompanied the performers, played three duets with Julia, and treated us to three solo piano songs as well.

It was an elegant, intimate performance, topped off by some rather tasty refreshments after the show.   The show attracted the notice of several library patrons, and at least one man approached us afterward, expressing his regret at having missed the show.   Thanks to all the performers for a wonderful show, and the New Smyrna Beach Library for allowing us to share it with them.
