Students wrote original songs this summer. Larissa, age 14, composed the song, "Diva Dance Mix". Larissa said, "I love the piano and voice that I am taking, thanks to my inspirational and encouraging music teacher, Miss Cathy, and am definitely going to keep it up."
Lia, age 11, after taking piano lessons for about a year and a half with Miss Cathy, accompanied 'Class Act Kids' in a professional recording studio. She says, "I take lessons at Total Entertainment with my teacher Miss Cathy. She has taught me a lot, and I have come a long way."
Elli: "The greatest inspiration to me is my piano teacher, Miss Cathy...she has all kinds of instruments at her house. I've composed several songs, and put them on a CD, and even had my picture on the CD. Wow, that was great!"
Stephanie, age 11, says, "I've been taking lessons on the piano with Miss Cathy for about one year. I've learned a lot about reading music, and how to read the music and listen to the way it sounds....Miss Cathy is also teaching me to compose my own songs."
